Old

The Flint Memorial Library was originally a town hall in 1874. Down on the ground floor, there was a small library. In 1958, there was an expansion, which led them to go across the street. (Which is also known as Damon Tavern.) In 1988, the building was left vacant and the town decided that the building should be turned into a library. The renovation was completed on October 21, 1991.

This is the Reverend Putnam House of 1721. Back in the 1700s, the town wanted Mr. Daniel Putnam to be able to have 20 acres of land, a house that was 28 feet long, 19 feet wide, 15 feet stud. He was the mayor at the time. The house and the grounds is now owned by the town.

New

North Reading High School was first built in 1955, and it used to be where the fence is now. In 2012, North Reading has decided to make a brand new school. In 2014, the first phase of construction was complete. In 2015, the old school was demolished and everyone moved up the hill. Both the Middle School and High School are combined together, which contains 1,370 students.

This storage unit just opened at the beginning of 2020.

This building used to be CVS. Eastgate Liquors used to be in front of this store but they tore it down and they made this parking lot bigger. They painted the whole plaza, and they made a whole new CVS right next to this plaza.

The Damon Tavern was built in 1817 by Ebenezer Damon for his older brother, Captain David Damon. There are 21 rooms and 9 fireplaces. In 1828, a ballroom was added to the second floor. Now it is used for North Reading Public TV Station, where I had my own show in High School.
